16 Rules To Stay Healthy Till Old Age

When it comes to health, there are no quick fixes here. Health is not a destination where we can reach once and everything will be fine. Health is a journey that we have to always decide.

Just like there are some rules to decide any journey, and if these rules are not followed, then you can also have an accident. In the same way, there are some rules for our health journey. By following them, not only our life journey becomes easier, not only do we stay healthier, but we also enjoy our life more.

So in this article, I am going to tell you about 16 such rules by following which you can always stay healthy. So quickly sit down with a pen and paper and write down all these rules. And put them in such a place where your eyes keep reading them daily so that you remember all these rules well.  It is important to note that if you are in medication, must follow the prescription and  instructions given by your physician/dietician. The rules mentioned is applicable to general / common human being of Asian Countiries. This rule may not be applicable if you have any special conditions in your health or any health related issues.

Rule No.1

You should always use rock salt in food. Rock salt, also known as pink Himalayan salt, does not work to increase water retention and blood pressure like white salt in the body. And that’s why eating it does not have a bad effect on your health.

Rule No. 2

After eating food at night, you should walk at least 500 steps. Research shows that after eating food at night, walking reduces your weight, does not cause gas and acidity, and you get a good sleep.

Rule No. 3

The third rule is that after eating food, you should drink water at least half an hour. Drinking water immediately after eating food weakens digestion, increases weight, and your stomach starts to swell.

Rule No. 4

The fourth rule is that you should drink 3 to 4 liters of water a day. By doing this, you will be safe from almost all kinds of stomach diseases.  You will never have kidney stones, and harmful toxins will also be removed from the body.

Rule No. 5

The fifth rule is that you should definitely drink a glass of lukewarm water in the morning. And as soon as you wake up in the morning, you should also sprinkle cold water in your eyes. 

By doing this, your body is detoxed and the light in your eyes also increases.

Rule No. 6

The sixth rule is that you should never use refined oil to cook food. Instead, you should use cow’s clarified butter.  Refined oil is made after a lot of chemical processing, and it is very harmful to your health. By the way, if you can’t afford cow’s clarified butter, then you can use mustard oil, coconut oil, or unrefined sesame oil.

Rule No. 7

The seventh rule is that you should use as many colorful things as possible in your food. 

That means you have to make your food colorful and safe from whiteness. By adding colorful vegetables and fruits to your food, you get a lot of vitamins, minerals, and proteins that are beneficial for your health.

Rule No. 8

Friends, our eighth rule is an extension of this rule, and that is that you should avoid white things in your food.  White things like white sugar, white salt, white rice, and white flour. These things are full of calories and have very low fiber, so eating them can cause obesity, constipation, and the body does not get a lot of nutrients from it.

Rule No. 9

The ninth rule is that you should never eat curd, kidney beans, and rice at night. According to Ayurveda, eating these things at night causes gas in the stomach, acidity, and weight gain problems. So if you want to eat these things, you should always eat them during the day. Rice can be eaten, if your digestive system is strong and have no digestion issue.

Rule No. 10

The tenth rule is that you should never drink tea or coffee on an empty stomach in the morning.  Drinking tea or coffee on an empty stomach increases acidity in the stomach and reduces hunger. If you have to drink tea in the morning, then always eat something light in the morning before breakfast and then drink tea or coffee.

Rule No 11

The eleventh rule is that you should never eat heavy food at night.  By doing this, the weight increases rapidly, our metabolism becomes weak, diabetes, cholesterol, and even the risk of heart attack increases.

Rule No. 12

The twelfth rule is that you should eat an apple every day. I am sure you have heard this before that an apple a day keeps the doctor away.  So you have to follow this rule and eat an apple every day.

Rule No. 13

The thirteenth rule is that you have to walk 10,000 steps every day. Nowadays, we all have smartphones.  So you will definitely find an app in every smartphone that tracks your steps. So keep in mind that you are walking at least 10,000 steps every day through these steps. By the way, if you can’t walk that much in the beginning, then you have to walk at least 5,000 to 7,000 steps in the beginning.

And gradually increase it to 10,000 steps. Walking is the best and easiest exercise for health. This reduces the risk of many diseases like diabetes, obesity, blood pressure, and heart attack.

Rule No.  14

The fourteenth rule is that you should drink a glass of lemon water every day. Drinking lemon water will save you from obesity and detox your body. Lemon is also a very rich source of vitamin C. So what happens with this is that your immunity also increases.

And you also stay safe from the various small diseases that occur when the weather changes.

Rule No.  15

The fifteenth rule is that you have to eat a big bowl of salad half an hour before lunch. Friends, eating salad is very beneficial for health.  You can eat it at any time of the day except at night. But if you eat salad half an hour before lunch, you get a lot of benefits from it. What happens with this is that it keeps your blood sugar under control, loses weight, increases energy in the body, and improves your digestion.

The sixteenth rule is that you should always drink water while sitting or standing. You should always drink water while sitting or standing. Another thing related to water that you should keep in mind is that you should never drink cold water.

If you always use lukewarm water, you will never have a stomach disease. Your cholesterol will also decrease, your body will detox, and your obesity will also decrease. If you can’t drink lukewarm water during the summer, then you can drink normal room temperature water or pot water.
